In the light of recent scandals involving major International charities, people are starting to think about the effectiveness of the donations that they make and actually how much gets right down to the people in need as opposed to how much is squandered by highly paid executives.

There is one thing for sure with Victoria's Wish, we operate the charity from our hearts not for personal financial gain and can assure people that every penny of their contribution will go to making a difference to children with life-threatening illnesses by organising trips and events.

We have our fingers crossed that more help will flow to our home based charity in the current climate (well they say home is where charity should begin anyway) so whether you can spare pennies or pounds or even mega amounts like our mysterious donor in 2014 (https://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/victorias-wish-big-surprise-redcar-7129612), you can be assured that it will be invested in bringing joy to the North East children we make a difference to.
