About UsThis non-profit organization was formed and dedicated in memory of Victoria Brandt 1989-2007. She was involved in a tragic vehicular accident on February 19, 2007, while crossing the Shands Bridge. Through our difficult time, we have realized that there are others who have also experienced a loss of a child who would benefit from having resources to assist in the grieving process. It is very difficult to lose a child, and it is very hard to think about what needs to be done next when this tragedy occurs. That is why we have incorporated this outreach for families in their time of need. As a State Certified Foster Parent in the State of Florida, I am offering my services to facilitate the surviving children for 24-48 hours, to allow the parents to have the opportunity to make decisions and grieve without the added responsibility of caring for the surviving minor children. This will allow the parents some much needed quiet time, if necessary. It is our goal to have a network of certified staff who also have children, who will help facilitate these needs. We have found that if children are placed in an environment with other children, they adapt relatively easy, allowing them to play and have fun while the parents have their time.
